The 60th Canadian Firefighters Curling Championship is underway from March 15-23rd in Kelowna, BC. The team representing Nova Scotia is from the Chester Fire Dept playing out of the Chester Curling Club.

One of our members, Mark Swinamer, was part of the team who won a gold medal at the Special Olympics Bonspiel held at the Bridgetown Curling Club on March 9th.

Taylour Stevens, a Club member and third on Team Moore from the Mayflower Curling Club, is having a great curling year!

Team Moore's 5-0 record made them the winners of the 2019 NS U18 Curling Championships held at the Truro Curling Club. The girls are heading back to Alberta in 3 weeks to compete in Nationals.

Team McEachren from the Truro Curling Club recently won the 2019 NS U18 Boys Championship. Two of our Club members, Scott Weagle (lead) and Owen Purcell (third) played alongside Alex McDonah (second) and Adam McEachren (skip) and coach Anthony Purcell. The boys will represent NS at the 2019 Canadian U18 Curling Championship in Sherwood Park, AB from April 2-7.
