The 16th Annual Ladies Gingerbread Spiel is a fun-filled day for women curlers only that is our Club's signature event in Chester's Gingerbread Festival, held every year at the end of November. The streets and business throughout our charming village are decorated with giant cut-out "gingerbread people" displaying their Yuletide spirit. Activities such as gingerbread house building competitions, Christmas Craft Fairs and Christmas-themed plays all help us to celebrate the festive season. More information on the festival can be found at the Gingerbread Festival Chester community Facebook page here.

Highlights of our curling event include 3 six end games, the top 3 teams will win cash prizes ($$$ based on the number of teams entered), morning snacks and lunch and, of course, the massage students will be back again this year to soothe those weary muscles!

The entry fee is $100 per team and only 16 teams will be accepted.

Sign up and payment details for the Gingerbread Spiel are listed in the poster below. So ladies... send your entry information to Carla today at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.Download the Gingerbread entry form here.

The draw schedule is completed and the points system is as follows: win=10 points, loss= 5 points, tie=5 points, ends= 2 points each end and blanks= 1 point each end.
