There are several ways to register for the upcoming curling season at the Chester Curling Club:
- Online Renewal...our prefered method; it's quick, easy and can be done from the comfort of your home simply by clicking on the online registration tool that can be found at the top of the Member's home page. As a former member, you will just need to review and confirm the personal information that is currently in our member database and accept the conditions of the online waiver form to complete your registration. Then you can make your payment using any of the methods below. If you have moved or changed any of your contact information, then this is your chance to correct things and make sure that you don't miss the latest news from the club or that phone call from your skip or opponents that the game tonight is going to be cancelled. Please check your information carefully to prevent any errors.
- Online Registration ...new members will have to complete all of the information in the online registration process, but that means that you will not have to print out and complete the handwritten paper form. It also ensures that the data that you enter is correct and hasn't been corrupted during transcription to the database by a volunteer. Just follow the steps that are provided in the NEW to the Club section below.
- In Person...if you are unable to complete the online renewal or registration for any reason, then please join us at the club on one of the registration nights that will be advertised and we will assist you in completing the registration and payment process.
- By Mail...if you are unable to complete any of the processes above, then please download a copy of the membership form here, fill it out and send it by mail with a cheque to: Chester Curling Club, 190 Pig Loop Road, Box 457, Chester, N.S., B0J 1J0
By completing the online registration process, all Adult Members will be acknowleding that they have read and will comply with all of the terms and conditions of the waiver form on the website at the time of their registration. If you would like to retain a copy of that form for your records you may download it below. If you do not register using the online process, there will be printed waiver forms available at the club for your signature.
By completing the online registration process, all the Parents/Guardians of all Junior Members will be acknowleding that they have read and will comply with all of the terms and conditions of the waiver form on the website at the time of their registration. If you would like to retain a copy of that form for your records you may download it below. If you do not register your junior curler using the online process, there will be printed waiver forms available at the club for your signature.
Unfortunately, the online process does not accomodate our Medical/Contact Information Form so all Parents/Guardians are required to download the form below, fill it out and sign it, and submit it at the club during registration or on the occasion of their child's first participation in curling activities. If you are unable to download the form, there will be printed forms available at the club.

- Payment options:
- VISA and Mastercard are no longer being accepted this year as part of the online registration process. Credit or debit payments may be made for membership registrations at the club any time that the bar is in operation.
- If you would prefer not to use a credit card, then the following options are still available:
- E-transfers can be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. In the message, include what you are paying for i.e. 1 x adult regular fee, 1 x locker fee, 1 x 200Club ticket. No code word is required.
- Cash and cheques will be accepted in person at the Club.
- Cheques only should be mailed into the Club.
I'm NEW to the Club and have never been a member...how do I register?
1.Requesting a Secure Website Account
- New members need to secure a website account and should first click on the red "Sign Up" button (located to the right in the Member login box). Fill out the required fields on the "Join Us" page and send in the request for an account.
- Usernames must be in the following format; your first and last names capitalized with an underscore between them, for example "Angus_Bonspiel". Unlike other websites, we do not use your email address as a username.
- Create a password that you will easily remember as we have no access to this information.
- If you are registering for a group (family, partners, team), you must sign up for each person individually so they have their own account.
- You must use an unique email address for each person for whom you are registering; ie. couples or parent/child cannot use the same email address.
- If you are requesting an account on behalf of a child/minor, you must put the account in their name, with a unique email address, but you can use your/the guardian's contact information.
- You will receive a verification email to the address provided and you must click on this link to proceed.
- Once approved, you will receive an email informing you that you can now log into the secure Member's Area.
2. Logging in for the First Time
- When you log in for the first time, we ask that you look over your personal details by clicking on the "My Information" link in the "Member Menu". Click on the "Edit" and "Update Your Profile" links (above your name) and update the non-mandatory fields such as additional contact/emergency info, upload a photo etc.
3.Register
- Once you've logged in, the online registration tool can be found at the top of the Member's home page. Click the link and follow the instructions. If you have filled out your personal details as outlined in the step above, that information should auto-fill in many of the required fields.
- Click here for a step-by-step list of instructions to help if you have any questions.
- Sign up for leagues in Step 3 as an individual or with a team. This step is very important for compiling team lists for League Chair!
- Click the "Confirm My Entry" button to complete the online registration process. If you don't receive a confirmation email immediately, then your registration has not successfully been completed...go back and re-click the "Confirm My Entry" button.
I'm a RETURNING member...how do I register?
- If you were a member last year (or any time since October 2015), you already have an account.
- Log into the grey Member Login box with the same username and password that you previously used for access.
- Your username is your first and last name capitalized with an underscore between them ie."Angus_Bonspiel".
- If you've forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Login" link and follow the instructions to get a new temporary password.
- Follow the instructions in (above-3. Register) to sign up using the registration tool. Update your contact details if you have a new email address, a new phone number or have recently moved.
- Sign up for leagues in Step 3.
- If you'll be curling with the same team as last year, add the names of your skip and team mates. If you're not sure who will be on the team, just enter the skip's name.
- If you want to curl in a specific league, but aren't yet part of a team, sign up as an individual and indicate your preferred position and the League Chair will contact you closer to the start of the season.
- Remember to click the "Confirm My Entry" button to complete the online registration process.
